Bespoke upholstery gives you exactly the right size, shape and fabric, whether that's a new sofa, a much-loved chair given a second life, or seating for a boat.
We make bespoke carpentry pieces and upholster in a wide range of sofa fabrics, leathers and vinyls. Reupholstering a good frame is often the best way to keep a piece you love and make it fit a new interior.
Our upholstery work extends beyond the home to marine and boat upholstery and sundecks, where the materials need to stand up to sun, salt and water.
Richards Bay is a harbour town, so boats and outdoor living are part of daily life here. Our marine and sundeck upholstery is made with that environment in mind.

Is it worth reupholstering an old sofa?
If the frame is solid, often yes. It's a good way to keep a quality piece and make it suit a new room. We'll tell you honestly whether it's worth doing.
Do you upholster boats?
Yes. We do marine and boat upholstery as well as sundecks.
Can I buy foam from you?
Yes. Top Deck supplies foam as well as using it in our own upholstery. Contact the studio with what you need.
Do you make beds?
Yes. We make bespoke beds and design complete bedrooms, including headboards, curtains and soft furnishings.
