Bathroom renovation

Bathrooms that feel calm and considered, from layout and tiling to vanities and fittings.

Overview

A good bathroom feels calm. That comes from the right layout, good light, careful tile setting-out and fittings that are a pleasure to use every day.

We design bathrooms as complete rooms. Tiles, vanity, basin, taps, shower and lighting are chosen together, so the finished space feels resolved rather than assembled from separate parts.

Bathrooms are unforgiving of poor workmanship, so we plan the details early: where joints fall, how surfaces meet and how the room will be cleaned and maintained.

In Richards Bay's humid coastal climate, ventilation and moisture-resistant materials matter as much as appearance. We take both into account when specifying a bathroom.

What a bathroom project involves

  • Layout and fittings

Bath, shower, basin and toilet positions planned around the existing plumbing where possible, moved only where it clearly improves the room.

  • Surfaces

Tiles, vanity and finishes chosen together, with joints and edges planned before work starts.

  • Ventilation and moisture

Humid coastal air makes extraction and moisture-resistant materials essential. We take both into account when specifying the room.

  • Specialist work

Plumbing, waterproofing and electrical work must be carried out by qualified trades. Your quotation sets out which trades are included and who appoints them.

Questions

Can I keep my existing plumbing positions?

Often, yes, and it can keep costs down. If moving a fitting will make the room work much better, we'll show you why.

Do you renovate en-suites and guest bathrooms?

Yes. We work on bathrooms of all sizes, from compact guest bathrooms to main en-suites.

Planning a bathroom renovation?

Tell us about the room, what you’d like to change and whether the plumbing positions can stay.
